Bad News Hampiri Arsenal after Chelsea opponent
Arsenal got bad news after failing to beat Chelsea in the Premier League continued last weekend. Attacker Danny Welbeck is likely to be out for a month due to injury.
The player is in trouble with a groin injury. He had to be pulled out on 73 minutes when Arsenal played a goalless draw with Chelsea.
Manager Arsene Wenger estimates the injury suffered by Welbeck is quite severe. The former Manchester United player had to pull over for about a month.
“Danny underwent a scan today, we do not know how bad his groin injury is, but he certainly will be absent until the international break,” said Wenger as reported by Sportsmole.
If Wenger’s guess is right, Welbeck will miss Arsenal against West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League and Doncaster Rovers (League Cup) and Bate Borisov (Europa League) contracts.
Arsenal will play again after the international holiday on 14 October. They will travel to Watford headquarters.
