Former Italy national team striker Alberto Gilardino is rumored to have decided to join Serie B or second league Italian league club Spezia. He ignored the offer of playing in the highest caste of the English League.
Gilardino is a transfer-free player after deciding to leave Pescara at the end of 2016-2017. Despite being 35 years old, he still has a lot of devotees.
