Mourinho Not Satisfied with Man United Transfer Activity

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is disappointed with club activity in the transfer market in the summer of 2017 in preparation for the team facing 2017-2018.

Manchester United have spent approximately 110 million pounds to improve the squad.

Funds of that size they invest in Victor Lindelof (35 million pounds) and Romelu Lukaku (75).

However, it seems the two major purchases are still far from satisfactory words for Jose Mourinho.

He hopes Man United’s chief executive Ed Woodward, who leads the negotiations to bring in the players Mourinho wants to do better.

“We always want more We always think we have room to fix the team and I can not say happy with the activity in our transfer market,” Mourinho told ESPN.

Currently, there are at least three players who became the target of Mourinho, although the 54-year-old manager had said that he needed an additional two players again.

The players are Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic and Chelsea defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic and Tottenham Hotspur player Eric Dier.

However, Mourinho admitted to understand Woodward difficulty in bringing the players he wants.

“I can only say that this is a difficult transfer market and I do not blame anyone.” The transfer market goes so much that there are many players difficult to get, although it can not be said to be impossible, “Mourinho said.

“Every club has a very strong position, they do not want to sell players or have very high price demands, so the transfer market is very difficult,” he said.

It is only natural that Mourinho wants his target players as soon as possible to join the squad.

The reason, the players also need a chance to play in the game pramusim as a means of adaptation and preparation ahead of the competition rolling.

“The transfer market will end on August 31, so there is still plenty of time, but my goal as a manager is very clear, that is to have the players as soon as possible,” Mourinho said.

“I want to quickly train them with the team and develop the team with them and Lukaku and Lindelof arrive to practice just in time on the first day,” he said.

Currently, Man United are preparing to face the pre-season tournament titled International Champions Cup 2017.

Red Devils will face Manchester City (21/7/2017), Real Madrid (23/7/2017), and FC Barcelona (26/7/2017).
